Context, Is the Bible Gone?

“God is a crutch, He is only there when needed.”

When you see a lightning strike, or a tornado destroy your house. Or even family members passing away. Some people have many different theories. It’s mother nature, that’s just life. Or is it something bigger, much bigger?

If you have been with me for the past few days you would know of my early post on Kingdoms, especially God’s kingdom. For there are few that find it. Well this time around, I decided to go to an even bigger problem with Christians and the bible: Fear of the Lord.

You know when you were a kid and you got into big trouble from your parents, you probably got scared from their anger towards your wrong action. Well many Christians don’t see God that way. I’m here to tell those people that they are wrong.

Psalm 2:11: Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psalm 119:20: My flesh trembles for fear of you; and I am afraid of your judgments.

God is only displayed as a crutch for some Christians, we use Him in the hard times, but never Praise Him for the Good. Rapper NF put it wonderfully:

“It’s easy to blame God but harder to fix things
We look in the sky like, “Why ain’t You listening?”
Watching the news in our living rooms on the big screens
And talking ’bout “If God’s really real, then where is He?”
You see the same God that you saying might not even exist
Becomes real to us, but only when we dying in bed
When ya healthy it’s like, we don’t really care for Him then
Leave me alone God, I’ll call you when I need you again
Which is funny, everyone will sleep in the pews
Then blame God for our problems like He sleeping on you
We turn our backs on Him, what do you expect Him to do?
It’s hard to answer prayers when nobody’s praying to you
I look around at this world we walk on
It’s a smack in the face, don’t ever tell me there’s no God
And if there isn’t then what are we here for?
And what are y’all doing down there? I don’t know Lord.”

The Fear has trickled away like water in the heat. Man and Woman have forgotten God and how we should be in fear of Him, but instead now… We try to be Him, here is my next story.

I found something interesting when watching some videos on Christianity(Mostly from Megachurch Pastors). And I came past a few Pastors(I won’t mention names for respectful reasons, though you will probably figure out who it was), and these pastors would preach on something pretty shocking.

“Little Gods, that is what we are! God created us in His image. So doesn’t that prove the point? We are Gods! We are God’s Little Gods of earth!”- Megachurch Pastor.

It’s interesting, now clearly this quote has exposed Sin through Blasphemy. He has obviously stated that he is equal with God. Now think about Psalm 2:11. Serve the Lord in Fear, and rejoice with trembling. We are in no way serving in Fear, or serving at all. Serving, comes from the word Serve, which is from the Noun: Servant. Which is under authority. In our case under God. But when we call ourselves little Gods, we are no longer serving and putting ourselves under God. We are no longer Fearing God.

Now this is where Psalm 119:20 comes into effect for Christians. When we accept these Pastors preaching, we are throwing this scripture away. We aren’t even changing it. We are just discarding it from our very lives. But in my opinion, this is one of the most important verses in the Bible: My flesh trembles for fear of you; and I am afraid of your judgements.

When we listen to these Pastors, and worse accept these teachings as fact, we will start to fall from the narrow way. If we walk the narrow way, we will always fear God.

Psalm 111:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

When we Fear the Lord, we will receive wisdom and an understanding of God, and when we put ourselves under God as Servants and serve Him as so, than that’s all that matters. We may not have thousands of dollars all a massive Church for followers to come to worship the God that those pastors portray. But if we serve the Lord with Fear and don’t equalize ourselves to His power, than let me ask you: What’s better?

“To stand with God and be judged by the World, or stand with the World and be judged by God?”

Under Fear of the Lord, I stand. Under the thoughts of Man, I fall.

Context, Is the Bible Gone?

You know I was reading something on social Media this morning and found something rather interesting. But before we go to that story, I want to tell this one.

This is a breath-taking scenery of a marvelous Kingdom. And only select few are able to enter (You learn a lot about that when reading lots of novels about Medieval ages). But the one thing that this kingdom has that really gets me: Servants. Peasants, Royalty, and most of all…. Rules. We live in a world now where kingdoms don’t exist. But the rules still follow for society. We don’t have anymore Peasants, or knights, or fellow gentleman walking around with stainless steel swords clanging against their sides, but the rules still apply.

Now before I do start too far, I would like to remind every person who is reading this, if you’re an Atheist, this post is not for you. You might as well move along. Unless you have an interest. But my main focus today is on my fellow brothers and brethren: Christians.

There is about an average of 1.5 million Christians in the western world today. But if you wanted to go an extreme and legit radar of Christians, the ladder probably falls about a Million. We have fallen away from God, not just by the influential acts of the world, and wanting to be a part of it. But from something a bit more disturbing, this next story is the one that shocked me to my core.

Thursday Night: I was talking to a good friend and brother on the phone, we were getting deep in conversation, The new Ratchet and Clank game. NF’s new Album “Therapy Session”, and one more thing. My friend brought up a really interesting thing that I decided to look at on Social Media. And I must admit, it was quite surprising. And then it wasn’t. Why?

There has been a recent release of the Biblical World. It’s called the “Queen James Bible”.

This is a King James Bible.

So what is the difference, well if you don’t know yet. It’s a Bible that takes all the verses of Homosexuality and interprets them to sound less condescending and more loving and accepting. So if You’re gay, you’re sweet! So why am I telling you this and why I’m not surprised, here is where the old Kingdom of Knights and peasants come in.

Matt 25.34:   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

Luke 12.32: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Funny enough, these verses are referring to the Kingdom of God, not the “Queendom” Of God. The Queen James Bible has rotted the Bible to the core and drained it of the convicting and spiritual presence which tells you of your evil.

Now if you are doing wrong by the bible… Just switch Bibles!

Now I don’t know if any of you fellow readers have ever read history about Knights and the Medieval age. But the one thing I knew is that you can’t just walk across the moat and the guards without a worry. You are pretty bound to have a sword fight.

. . . . . . . . .

So the number one question, Why wasn’t I surprised?

The World is going to end soon, don’t know when, but I think it is close. And you would think you would pull your head in as Christians and take a stand for the Word of God. Hmm, I guess we’re wrong huh.

Now I’m one to be blunt, especially to other Christians when it comes to our faith. If they are not following the Word of God, then I will judge my brother or sister and hopefully bring them back to God. Because in the end, It’s Christians who think that there is nothing wrong with being gay. I found out about a Christian musician who said the context of homosexuality in the bible is not correct. Being Gay is fine.

Well, if you want the answer to that bluntly, I would tell you’re going to hell with every other person that has fallen short of God’s KINGDOM. So if I have gotten everything straight for you all, what’s the bottom line?

There is nowhere near 1.5 million Christians in the western World. Just because you go to church, say a few hollow prayers. If you don’t take the Bible as a literal thing, and take everything out of context. Those gates to God’s Kingdom will open for no man or woman. We as Christians should love the phrase from Atheists and haters of Christianity, “Jesus Freak”. Why? Because at least when we go before God, we know He’s going to let us pass across the Moat into His Kingdom?

The Doctrine of Sin; In a Nutshell.

The Apostle Paul tells us that sin first entered into the world through Adam & Eve (Romans 5:12-21), hence we have the term original sin. As a result all humans are born into sin and we see this acted out in many ways in the world (from greed, lust, to horrendous crimes like homicide, sexual abuse etc.). King David in his writing tells us that “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5). The Bible teaches us that human nature has been corrupted due to sin.

No-one is good according to the Bible (Romans 3:10; only God is good: Mark 10:18). We may look at someone in a worldly context and conclude that they’re “good” (they may be known for giving to the poor, helping out others in times of need etc.). But that is ultimately worldly goodness. The prophet Isaiah once…
